Terms and Conditions

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Vimini. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If we discover that a user is under 13, we will terminate their account immediately and delete all associated data. Users between 13 and 16 in the European Union may require parental or guardian consent under applicable law.

Account creation may require an email address, username, password, and acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You may also create or access an account through supported third-party authentication services.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information. Name, phone number, date of birth, profile photo, diet preferences, favourite tags, and favourite locations are optional profile or setup data where available in the App.

Vimini reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading registration information.

You retain ownership of content you create, upload, publish, send, save, vote on, or otherwise provide through Vimini ("User Content").

User Content includes reviews, photos, comments, messages, lists, collections, list and collection notes, saved places, recommendations, surveys and polls, survey votes and options, group content, feedback, reports, profile images, tags, likes, mentions, and social interactions.

By providing User Content, you grant Vimini a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, host, display, compress, process, transmit, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the App. This license ends when you delete your content, except where limited retention is allowed under these Terms or the Privacy Policy.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. Vimini does not endorse, verify, or assume liability for User Content posted or shared by users.

Vimini does not review all User Content before it is published. Content may be reviewed after a report, safety signal, support request, legal request, or suspected violation.

Reviews on Vimini are personal opinions intended to help users remember and share restaurant experiences with the audiences allowed by their settings and chosen features. They are not authoritative assessments of any establishment.

Vimini makes no guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or currentness of any review, recommendation, survey result, restaurant information, place data, or other content shown in the App.

Restaurant and venue information displayed in the App, such as addresses, hours, ratings, photos, map details, and place search results, may be sourced from third-party data providers or user submissions. Vimini does not control and is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party or user-provided place data.

You should not rely solely on reviews, recommendations, surveys, or place information found on Vimini when making decisions about dining or visiting any establishment.

Photos and images uploaded to Vimini remain the property of their respective owners. Users who upload images retain their rights to use their images outside the App.

By uploading or selecting images, you grant Vimini a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, compress, process, and display them within the App. Images may be compressed or resized for performance, and original quality may not be preserved.

Photos uploaded as part of reviews may be displayed on restaurant pages, in search results, in shared previews, and in other areas of the App to provide the Service. In some contexts, photos may be shown without individually identifying the uploader.

Vimini may automatically share anonymous review content or review insights with the restaurant or venue being reviewed. This sharing does not include your name, username, profile photo, contact details, or other direct account identifiers.

External links and snapshots may make selected User Content available outside the App when you choose to share that content.

• Do not scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract content, images, reviews, messages, user data, or app data from Vimini.
• Do not download, copy, or redistribute User Content without the explicit consent of the content owner, except through sharing features provided by the App.
• Do not use content obtained from Vimini for commercial purposes without authorization.

You agree not to upload, post, send, vote on, create, or share content, and not to behave in a way that violates these Terms or harms the Service, users, or others.

A violation may result in content removal, feature limits, suspension, permanent account termination, or legal action where appropriate. Vimini may remove content or restrict accounts at its discretion when it believes these Terms have been violated.

• content containing nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit material;
• content that is offensive, hateful, discriminatory, threatening, harassing, or abusive;
• content that promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity;
• content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
• false or misleading content posted with intent to deceive;
• personal information or identifiable images of another person posted without appropriate consent;
• fake, incentivized, manipulated, or undisclosed promotional reviews;
• spam, unsolicited advertising, or promotional material;
• automated bot or script activity;
• attempts to bypass safety, privacy, rate limit, account, or security controls.

Your use of Vimini is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which describes data collection, legal bases, provider categories, retention, rights, and deletion handling in more detail.

Vimini offers profile privacy settings that affect who can see your profile, reviews, lists, collections, and activity. You are responsible for choosing and managing your privacy settings.

• Open profiles may be visible to Vimini users according to app features.
• Private profiles limit review, list, and collection visibility to approved followers or feature-specific audiences.
• Super-private profiles apply stricter discovery limits and reduce broader visibility.

Vimini may offer optional contacts, location, and notification features. You are responsible for managing these permissions through the App and your device settings. The Privacy Policy explains how Vimini processes this data.

Where permitted by law, Vimini may contact you at the email address provided for your account about Vimini-related news, surveys, feedback requests, product research, feature updates, and similar app-related communications. You may opt out of these optional communications at any time by following the unsubscribe or opt-out instructions provided in the communication, where available, or by contacting us at help.vimini@gmail.com.

Vimini provides direct and group messaging features. Messages and related data are stored and processed to enable delivery, conversation history, notifications, safety, and support.

Messaging features may include message requests, reactions, attachments, shared app content, and group conversations.

You are responsible for the messages and content you send. Users may report messages, conversations, groups, or related content for review.

Vimini uses third-party services and data sources to operate the App. Vimini is not responsible for the practices, policies, availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services, data sources, app stores, device platforms, or external websites. The Privacy Policy describes provider categories and related data processing.

Vimini may use analytics, diagnostics, performance, crash, interaction, and usage information to operate, protect, and improve the App. For details about data collection, processing, retention, and your rights, see the Privacy Policy.

Vimini may include points, badges, titles, progress counters, streaks, challenges, and leaderboards that reflect user engagement and contributions.

Participation may be automatic based on activity within the App. Rankings, titles, badges, and related profile or activity information may be visible to other users according to app features and privacy settings.

Vimini may change, reset, remove, or correct gamification rules, points, badges, titles, and rankings to fix errors, prevent abuse, or improve the Service.

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Terms, you may report it using the App's reporting tools or by contacting us.

After receiving a report or identifying a safety signal, Vimini may review relevant content, account data, and technical information and may take appropriate action, including removing content, limiting features, suspending accounts, banning users, blocking communication, or preserving information where legally necessary.

Vimini is not required to monitor all content and does not guarantee that all objectionable content will be removed immediately.

You may permanently delete your account through the App's settings where available.

Account deletion is irreversible. Vimini cannot recover deleted accounts or associated active-system data.

The Privacy Policy explains what data is deleted, what limited information may be retained, and how backups are handled.

The Vimini name, logo, design, software, interfaces, features, and proprietary technology and content, excluding User Content, are owned by Vimini or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, scrape, or create derivative works based on Vimini's proprietary materials except where allowed by law or with prior written consent of Vimini.

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Vimini makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding availability, reliability, accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.

Vimini is not responsible for any loss, damage, harm, dining decision, user interaction, third-party service issue, inaccurate place data, or reliance on User Content or app content.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vimini shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App.

Vimini's total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to Vimini in the 12 months preceding the claim, if any.

Except in cases where Vimini is actually liable, you agree to indemnify and hold Vimini harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses, including legal fees, arising from your use of the App, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

Vimini may modify the Terms, where there is a valid reason (such as, by way of example: implementations or modifications to the App functionality; regulatory changes; administrative measures; decisions by the Authorities). Updated Terms will be posted within the App and/or on an associated website, giving due notice (including via a pop-up), with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly.

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the App and may delete your account.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy.

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Venice - Italy, except where applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
