Bring your saved places

Your Google Maps lists and notes, imported in minutes.

Years of saved pins and long lists in your notes should not stay stuck where you left them. Paste a Google Maps list link or a list of names, and Vimini turns them into restaurant lists you can actually use.

Start from what you already saved

Google Maps lists with a link

Paste up to 10 Google Maps list links in one import. Each link becomes its own Vimini list.

Lists from your notes

Paste one place per line from Apple Notes or any notes app. Vimini finds each restaurant for you.

Keep using the app

Google Maps imports run in the background and Vimini notifies you when your list is ready, even if you close the app.

How to import your lists

  1. 1

    Create a new list

Open My Lists, create a new list and choose Import places. You can also import while you set up your profile.

  2. 2

Paste a link or a note

For Google Maps, share your saved list, copy its link and paste it. For notes, paste one place per line, adding the city for more precise results.

  3. 3

    Check the matches

Places with a single match are picked automatically. When a line could be more than one restaurant, choose the right one, search again or skip it.

Import questions

Do I need to sign in to Google?

No. Vimini imports a Google Maps list from its link, so there is no Google account to connect.

Can I share a note to Vimini instead of pasting it?

For a whole list, paste it into the import. Sharing a note to Vimini saves a single place.

Do imported places count as visits?

No. Imported places are saved to a list as places to try. Save a vimini when you actually visit.

Can I import places I have already been to?

Yes. Use Add multiple places and paste your list to save several viminis at once. Places you do not rate are added to your To try list.
